Agitation (2006)

God Of Demons’ debut album entitled “Agitation” was released on June 6th 2006 and quickly brought the band to international success and world music stardom. It topped the US Album Chart for two weeks with a whopping first week sales of 666,000 copies, a record for a debut album. The album produced 3 top-20 US hits “Outrage”, “Violence Arise”, “No Escape”, and all three reigned at #1 on the Hot Rock Charts. This early success earned the band 4 Grammy nominations for New Artist, Rock Song of the Year (Outrage), Rock Performance of the Year (Violence Arise) and Rock Album of the Year, winning the first category. The World Music Awards named the five-piece group “2006 Brightest New Stars” and “The Breakout Band of 2007”. After more than a decade, the multiplatinum-certified record has sold nearly 30 million copies worldwide and became one of the millenials’ best-selling albums.

Mad (2010)

The band’s second album “Mad” was released on September 19th 2010 to critical acclaim and commercial success. The record was honored “Best Album of the Year” by big music magazines like Billboard, Rolling Stone and Alternative Press. Its aggregate critic score was 95, the highest among all albums released in that year. It spawned 4 rock top-charting singles, and its lead single “Pain In The Veins” earned the band the first #1 hit in the US, UK, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. The sophomore effort won 5 Grammy Awards (Album of the Year, Rock Album of the Year Record of the Year, Best Rock Song, Best Rock Performance – the last three were for Pain In The Veins), 7 Billboard Music Awards, 4 American Music Awards, 3 European Music Awards and numerous other awards. Exceeding 23 million copies sold, it became the #1 best-selling album of the 2010s.

Pre-Apokolips (2016)

After a long hiatus, the rock group returned with the anticipated release of “Pre-Apokolips” on March 30th 2016. Its apocalyptic theme which involved current world issues such as the nuclear war and global warming was highly praised by critics. Although its lead single “Odd One” didn’t meet its predecessor success, failing to reach the top 40 of US Hot 100, but its second single “Unleash the Zethug” quickly hit #1 on worldwide charts with its bold experimental sound. Featuring Kendrick Lamar and Clean Bandit, the song was regarded as a hot mess of melodic hardcore, rap and dance-electronic music. This ambitious effort gained success in different genres, topping charts in rock, rap/hip-hop and dance. It won ample Grammy Awards – Song of the Year, Record of the Year, Rock Song of the Year, Rock Performance of the Year, Best Rap/Sung Collaboration – while its mother album won Album of the Year and Rock Album of the Year. With 4 million copies sold, it became the #1 best-selling album of 2016.
